![]() ![]() If you need a few more hits to take an undefended tower, let them know that you will be there to defend soon, and try to delay the full-blown team fight. It is important that your team know they can rely on you to show up and chronosphere if they defend (a 4 protect-1 strategy is only good if the team can rely on each other). If the early game goes averagely, and Void gets midas within 9 minutes, I still have good success rate - as the enemy seem to get overconfident, push very hard and overextend early game -setting up devastating team fight opportunities for your team. If the early game goes perfectly, (meaning Void get's some kills in lane and a fast midas) I almost never lose with this strategy, unless the enemy team has a competent Silencer with good timing. People seem to think Void offers nothing early game, which is not true - with good team communication he is very strong compared to some carries. ![]() ![]() Any time you show up and ulti more than one enemy, your team mates ought to be able to combo their ultis and punish this early aggression. In my experience, you will most likely find that the enemy become very overconfident around 10-15 minutes and start diving your allies in neatly compacted little groups. The general rule is farm when it is on cooldown, push when it isn't. Make sure your team know when Chronosphere will be ready - use it to defend your outer towers, win team fights and then push. My advice is to get Midas on the void, maelstrom or battlefury, MoM if the enemy lack nukes and then Agh's ASAP. Death Prophet's ulti can put your team on the back foot too. Whilst I appreciate that any captain worth his salt is probably going to ban the above combos, most captains at my MMR level don't.Īs the captain of the team drafting void, I can recommend banning silencer and shadow demon who can mess up chronospheres either before they are cast (Global Silence), or during (Disruption). Queen of Pain (creates a lot of space if played well, good ulti too)Įlder Titan (reduces armor for any of FV's targets, epic ulti). Magnus (FV can get Battlefury AND Empower, sets up perfect chrono) Shadow Shaman (good control, good push, some synergy with ulti)ĭisruptor (my favourite support - his synergy with FV is obvious). Venomancer (zones enemy offlane out very well, good push, ulti) Sand King (aoe stun if void gets dived, good farmer after laning, ulti) Witch Doctor (maledict if FV gets a lucky time lock, heals, dat ult) Jakiro (great in defensive trilane, good push, macropyre during chrono) I generally play CM or CD in 3 or 5 stacks, and have had some nice games drafting a Faceless Void with heroes like: None of this is new information per se, I would just like to see FV played more often at my level, and not just insta-dismissed as being part of the "old meta". I play around 3500-3900 MMR, where good captains are rare, strong aggressive trilanes are even rarer, and any measure of respect for my favourite carry by the enemy team seems none-existant.
